Terial Magic - 24 oz. Bottle

Product Description

Terial Magic allows you to play with single ply fabric in a whole new way. It replaces stabilizers and fusibles for quilters and embroiderers, keeps fraying in check for scrapbookers and crafters and gives the fabric a firmer hand for holding shapes and folds for all fabric projects. It is quickly becoming a household product suitable for any quilter, sewer, crafter, embroiderer or other DIY’er’s toolbox! Treat your fabric in 3 simple steps... spray, air dry and iron! Terial Magic™ lasts, but is water soluble and can be washed out if desired. For more permanence and water resistance use a clear matte acrylic spray finish on finished art.

Uses include:

  • machine embroidery - use treated fabric instead of fabric layered with fusible or paper stabilizers
  • electronic cutting machines can cut treated fabric without any fusible stabilizers- fabric doilies, mass production of shapes for teachers or quilters, scrapbooking
  • print on treated fabric in inkjet printers
  • fabric origami
  • fabric scrapbooking and cards
  • wall quilts and appliqué piecing
  • fabric crafts
  • fabric gift wrap and gift bags

  1. I LOVE Terial Magic!

Posted by Bonnie on 17th Sep 2015

This is my second 24 oz. bottle of Terial Magic. I make quillows, and I lightly spray my fabric before stitching. It makes the fabric so easy to stitch, without any wrinkles. When I am completely finished making the quillow, I launder it, washing out the Terial Magic. Very pleased with your product. :)

  2. Excellent Product

Great product for getting cotton fabric stabilized before cutting with digital cutter. No fraying threads and it doesn't take much to wring the spray through the fabric. I did not use the bowl method as shown in the video but instead just misted the fabric, squeezed it through the fabric so all the fabric was covered and then waited till it was just damp dry and pressed. Would buy again.

  3. Great money saver for machine embroidery!!!!!!

I purchased a small bottle at my local sewing center today. I came home and was like a kid on christmas morning. I love this Terial Magic. I have used it on small samples of machine embroidery on different kinds of fabric. I am sold on this stuff. I will be purchasing more. Keep up the great work. This works so well I am replacing my expensive stabilizers with the Terial Magic. I am so glad I found this product. Thanks for making such a great product that really works and you don't need anything else in the hoop for most of the projects that I do.

  4. Makes fabric stiff as a board!

No need for stabilizer when you use Terial Magic. Yippee! One less step when I embroider quilts. AND it washes out quick. I'm soooooo happy I found this product!

  7. Machine Embroiderer

I used it for applique with embroidery and also heavily stitched machine embroidery. It was wonderful! No stabilizer needed. I just hooped up my fabric and it worked great.

  10. Stabilizing fabric for machine embroidery

Posted by Donna Moriarty on 27th Mar 2014

Bernina educators recommended this product to stabilize fabric for machine embroidery. I had already cut out the bodice of a blouse when I decided I wanted to put an embroidery design on it. Since I could not hoop it I decided to stabilize the fabric with terial magic before I adhered it to the sticky stabilizer in the hoop. Because the fabric was stiffer I did not have to worry about distortion of the fabric as I secured it to the backing stabilizer in the hoop. Worked great.
